What happened for the caravanning dealer world in 2015.
2015 has been a good year in retrospect, sales have overall been positive and we’re in a good position for 2016 and the start of the next season. 2 berth caravans were a little confusing this year, there were small pockets of demand for them, but mainly they seem to be going slightly out of favour. 4 berths were the opposite, particularly fixed bed variants. They sold very well, with a decent demand through the year. 5 berth, those with bunk beds, were also popular by new family’s starting to caravan for the first time. The 6 berth market was about the same as it’s always been, a fairly specialised market really. Almost all sold to those who were particularly looking for that model/variant, with the rare occasion of someone deciding to upgrade slightly from the 5 berth they had in mind.
So yes, 2015, although somewhat quiet in areas, was a good year overall, and we look forward to 2016 and the new season.
