Selling a tourer privately means adverts, photographs, messages that go nowhere and strangers on your driveway at eight on a Sunday night. Then someone finds a patch of damp and knocks five hundred off on the spot. We take the whole job off your hands.
What we buy
Every mainstream make and plenty that are not: Bailey, Swift, Elddis, Coachman, Lunar, Sterling, Sprite, Compass, Buccaneer, Adria, Hobby, Knaus, Abbey, Avondale, Fleetwood and Ace.
Two berth up to six berth, single axle or twin, from nearly new down to caravans that have not moved off the drive in a decade. If it is a tourer, we are interested.
The things that add money
- A motor mover. Almost always worth having and worth telling us about.
- Service and damp history. Even a couple of stamps helps.
- A fixed bed layout. These sell faster than anything else.
- Awning, solar panel, alarm or tracker. All count.
- Both sets of keys. Small thing, real difference.
How selling to us compares
A private sale might reach a higher headline figure, on paper, eventually. What it costs you is weeks of adverts, your weekends, and the risk of the price being talked down on the day.
A dealer part exchange only works if you are buying something from them, and the number is usually built around the deal on the new one. Selling outright to a buyer removes both problems: the price is agreed before anyone sets off, and it is the price you are paid.
